Volkswagen has recently pulled the wraps off the Golf 6 GTI Wolfsburg Edition during the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, in a premiere.
Even if the new generation of the popular German hatchback is already available for order in several markets, the car manufacturer continues to surprise us, by releasing more special editions of high performance versions of the previous variant, the Golf 6. After seeing the Golf 6 R Cabrio in Chicago just earlier today, time has come to write about yet another Golf 6, this time in the GTI Wolfsburg Edition, which was officially presented to the public during the same automotive event.
According to the car manufacturer, the Volkswagen Golf 6 GTI Wolfsburg Edition will be produced in just 2,000 units and the model will be sold in the U.S. this quarter, in three colors, the Deep Black, the Candy White and the Carbon Steel Gray. The model is getting red stitched carpeted floor mats, golf ball shifter knob, a 6-speed dual clutch transmission and 18-inch Laguna wheels. Prices for the VW Golf 6 GTI Wolfsburg Edition will start at 25,095 USD.
