Volkswagen Golf 7 by Caractere gets previewed image

The aftermarket specialists at Caractere have recently released the first details on their upcoming tuning program for the new generation of the Volkswagen Golf, the Mk 7.

The Volkswagen Golf 7 may have been unveiled a couple of years ago and if you’re the proud owner of such a model, and you want to add a personal touch to it, you will be glad to know that Caractere will be soon offering a new upgrade package for sale. According to the tuning company, the popular C-segment hatchback in question will receive an aerodynamic body kit, which will include the revised side skirts, the front lip spoiler and the rear diffuser.

Caractere says that the Volkswagen Golf 7 can also receive a tailgate mounted spoiler, a revised front grille, a stainless steel sports exhaust system and either 18- or 19-inch CW1 light alloy wheels, amongst other. A variety of performance upgrades will also be available for the model in question and these will allow the 2.0 TDI to develop 208 HP (153 kW) and 410 Nm (302 lb-ft) of torque and the 2.0 liter TFSI to produce 310 HP (228 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque.
