The first rendering with the Volkswagen Golf 7 has recently made its way onto the web and it might provide us with a first look into a final production version of the popular model.
The German based automaker Volkswagen has already unveiled the new Golf 7 generation, in its many body styles, including 5-door hatchback, 3-door hatchback or Estate, but it seems that a fourth body style, the convertible, has been forgotten by everyone. Well, not exactly everyone, as Theophilus Chin is now providing us with a first look into the new VW Golf 7 Cabrio, and we must say that the model in question looks quite appealing.
According to our source, the new Volkswagen Golf 7 Cabrio might become a rival for the Opel / Vauxhall Cascada or even a replacement for the Volkswagen Eos, but with a fabric soft top instead of the folding hard top found on the older vehicle. Volkswagen didn’t announce its plans just yet to offer a convertible version of the new Golf generation, but knowing how the company works, we can most likely say that such a vehicle will probably make its way onto the market in a year or two. Meanwhile, you can check it out in the image posted above.
