The aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade program for the new generation of the Volkswagen Golf.
According to the tuning company, the Volkswagen Golf 7 will get five power boosts from ABT Sportsline, starting with its smallest engine and ending up with the most powerful one. ABT Sportsline says that the 1.2 TFSI engine can produce 105 HP (78 kW) from the standard 86 HP (64 kW), the 1.4 TFSI can get an extra 25 HP (18 kW) from the standard 140 HP (104 kW), the 1.6 TDI will produce 125 HP (93 kW) from the 105 HP (78 kW), the 2.0 TDI with 150 HP (111 kW) will get an extra 30 HP (22 kW) and the 184 HP (137 kW) 2.0 TDI will produce 210 HP (156 kW).
Besides the power boost mentioned above, the German car tuner is also offering some exterior upgrades for the new generation of the Volkswagen Golf, like the new front spoiler, the redesigned mirror caps, the upgraded mirror caps, the new side skirts, the new headlight covers, the new apron at the back and the four tailpipes, along with the suspension spring kit and the choice of either 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels. ABT Sportsline didn’t announce an official price for these upgrades just yet.
