Oettinger has released the first details on their latest creation, an upgrade program for the new generation of the Volkswagen Golf.
The Volkswagen Golf 7 has just been unveiled almost a month ago at the 2012 Paris Motor Show but that doesn’t stop tuning company from all over to develop upgrade programs for it and after we’ve presented the one signed by ABT Sportsline just earlier today, time has come for another tuner to reveal its upgrades for the German hatchback. The company is named Oettinger and the upgrades offered are both visual and performance orientated.
Oettinger says that the Volkswagen Golf 7 can be fitted with a new body kit which is made out of a front spoiler, some modified side skirts and a rear diffuser insert. The price of this body kit will be set at 1,490 euros and it will be available in early 2013. The 1.6L TDI can get 110 HP from the 90 HP or 125 HP from the 105 HP for an extra 1,090 euros, the 2.0 TDI can get an extra 30 HP, the 1.4 TSI is expected to get a “particularly powerful” upgrade and the Golf GTI will be tuned to produce between 260 HP and 360 HP. Other features available will be the high performance braking system, the adjustable suspensions, the sports exhaust system, the limited slip differential and the new alloy rims.
