The aftermarket specialists at B&B have recently unveiled an updated VW Golf 7 R, which has received some interesting three-stage power kits.
Owners of the new Volkswagen Golf R generation will be glad to find out that B&B is offering some upgrade power kits, in three-stage, for their rides. Stage 1 is offering 360 HP (265 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, by charging the air pressure and by remapping the electronic injection characteristic map. This is way more than the standard 300 HP (221 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque. Prices for these upgrades start at 1,298 euros.
Stage 2 costs 3,950 euros and it’s coming with 385 HP (283 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque. These figures have been obtained by installing the bigger intermediate exhaust pipe with sports catalyzer and by reducing the thermal load. The Stage 3 will set you back for 9,850 euros and it’s offering an impressive 420 HP (309 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque, by adding the bespoke turbocharger, by modifying the air suction system and by installing the sports exhaust system. No performance details have been announced yet.
