The German based automaker Volkswagen has officially introduced the new Golf Edition, in a premiere, during the AMI Leipzig automotive event.
After officially pulling the wraps off the new Beetle Cabrio Karmann Edition, during the 2014 AMI Leipzig, the German based automaker Volkswagen has also introduced the new Golf Edition, during the same automotive event. The model in question has been previewed by the Golf Edition Concept but the production variant is coming with tinted windows, with xenon headlights and with 17-inch Singapore style alloy wheels, amongst others.
“The special “Golf Edition” model combines the typical characteristics of the successful bestseller with the exclusivity of the premium class”, says the carmaker in its official press release.
The new Volkswagen Golf Edition is also coming with leather / Alcantara seats in the cabin, with a leather wrapped steering wheel, with illuminated door sill plates, a black roof headliner, a Composition Media infotainment system, some wood trim and others. The model is also equipped with the Light & Sight package, adding the automatic headlights and rain sensing wipers, the Adaptive Cruise Control or the Blind Spot Detection. No pricing details have been announced yet.
