Volkswagen has recently announced the official starting price of the brand new Golf Estate in the UK, where the model can be yours from 17,915 GBP.
According to the German based automaker, the cheapest version of the new Golf Estate, the S trim, will get features like the XDS differential, the 5.8-inch color screen, iPod connectivity and Bluetooth, amongst others. This can be yours from 17,915 GBP but it can also rise to 20,540 GBP. The SE range will add the automatic headlights and wipers, the distance control with emergency braking and the 16-inch alloy wheels and it will set you back for at least 20,620 GBP.
The top of the line GT models will receive the parking sensors, electric mirrors, satellite navigation system, sports suspension system and 17-inch alloy wheels, for 23,935 GBP. As for the engine options, the new Golf Estate will get the 1.6 liter TDI with 89 HP and a 5-speed manual, the 104 GP 1.6 TDI with a DSG seven-speed or a manual five-speed and a 2.0L TDI with 148 HP, mated to a six-speed manual or to the DSG. Order books for the new Volkswagen Golf 7 Estate will open on the 2nd of July.
