Volkswagen Golf IV R32 gets modified by HPerformance image

The aftermarket specialists from HPerformance have put together an upgrade package for the old Volkswagen Golf IV R32.

Owners of the VW Golf IV R32 who are looking to upgrade their rides can now turn their heads towards the kit signed by HPerformance. The model in question has received the HPA EFR550 turbocharger, along with the revised software, available for the 3.2 liter naturally aspirated V6 engine. The standard unit is capable of putting down a total of 240 HP (177 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque.

The upgraded one is now producing no less than 550 HP (404 kW) and 730 Nm (539 lb-ft) of torque, which are being sent to the same 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. We have no clue at this point on the new 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint or on the top speed but the standard car can do it in 6.6 seconds and it can go up to 247 km/h (153 mph).

Besides the power upgrade, the Volkswagen Golf IV R32 by HPerformance has also received the H&R stabilizers, the KW variant 2 coilovers, the custom water cooled intake manifold, a new exhaust system with 90 mm end pipes, electronically adjustable boost controller, larger front wings and a fresh set of 19-inch HRE alloy wheels. For these upgrades you will have to pay a massive 35,000 euros, as HPerformance has officially announced.
