Our spy photographers have managed to capture the new Volkswagen Golf R Estate while it was being tested out on the “Green Hell”.
New spy photos with the upcoming Volkswagen Golf R Estate have been provided by our photographers as the model in question was recently caught on camera while being tested out on the Nurburgring. The most powerful version of the new generation Volkswagen Golf Estate is, however, uncertain, as a test driver told our photographer. According to our source, the German based automaker hasn’t decided yet whether to put the new Golf R Estate into production, but its faith will be decided in the months to come.
The new Volkswagen Golf R Estate has received a more aggressive body kit and changes can be seen in the front and rear bumpers and in the huge wheels. The lower ride is also a hint that this is no order wagon version of the new Golf generation. Power is being provided by the same 2.0 liter TSI turbocharged engine found on the Golf R hatchback, with 300 HP. More details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced if VW decides to put it into production.
