A new body style of the Volkswagen Golf R, the Estate, is getting ready to hit the market as the company is currently testing it out, on the track.
The German based automaker Volkswagen is testing out a new version of the Golf R which will be more practical and aimed towards young families with a hidden passion. The Volkswagen Golf R Estate is currently being tested out and it has been caught on camera by our spy photographers. Rumor has it that it will be introduced either by the end of this year or even in early 2015, so the wait isn’t that long.
The 2015 Volkswagen Golf R Estate will basically be the same car as its hatchback brother, except for the rear end which will now be more practical, offering more luggage space or enough room for your dog. The same exterior modifications will be added to the model too, including the front and rear bumpers, the lower ride height or the large wheels. Power to the model will be provided by a 2.0 liter TSI turbocharged unit, from the hot hatch, which is capable of producing 300 HP. More details on it will be announced in December, during the Essen Motor Show.
