Oettinger has recently introduced its newest creation, an upgrade package for the Volkswagen Golf R.
Those of you who happen to own a Volkswagen Golf R will be glad to know that the aftermarket specialists at Oettinger are currently offering a new upgrade package for the hot hatch, so if you want to modify your own, than you have come to the right place. According to the tuning company, the vehicle in question has received features like a new front spoiler, new side skirts, a tailgate mounted spoiler, a four tailpipe sports exhaust system, high performance braking system and a choice of 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.
The guys at Oettinger are also offering some tweaks made under the hood, where the four-cylinder 2.0 liter engine has now received an optimized ECU and a larger turbocharger. Thanks to these modifications, the total output now produced by the engine is standing at 400 HP (294 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque, 100 HP (73 kW) and 120 Nm (88 lb-ft) of torque more than the standard car. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint now takes 4.0 seconds and top speed stands at 280 km/h (174 mph).
