Volkswagen has recently announced the official starting price of the new Golf TDI BlueMotion in Germany, where the model is available from 21,900 euros.
The new generation of the Volkswagen Golf TDI BlueMotion has been recently launched in Germany, where its future customers will have to choose between two trim levels, the Trendline, from 21,900 euros, and the Comfortline, at 28,255 euros. The model in question is the most frugal Golf model in the vehicle’s history, with a 15 percent improvement in fuel consumption, being rated at just 3.2 liters every 100 km and emitting 85 g/km of CO2.
The Volkswagen Golf TDI BlueMotion is powered by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder diesel engine, which is producing a total output of 109 HP and it has a peak torque of 250 Nm (184 lb-ft), available from as low as 1,500 rpm. The model in question is coming with several features which are helping improve its fuel consumption, like the start / stop system, the brake energy recovery, the 6-speed manual transmission with longer gear ratios, the low rolling resistance tires and more. There is also a modified bodywork, a special roof spoiler, partially enclosed radiator grille and other aerodynamic elements.
