Volkswagen Golf TSI BlueMotion goes official image

Volkswagen has officially introduced the new Golf TSI BlueMotion which will be offered for sale soon.

Just when you thought you will not see more versions of the Volkswagen Golf Mk7, the German based automaker is coming back with yet another one. This has been called the Golf TSI BlueMotion and it is coming with the body-color rear spoiler, with 15-inch Lyon-style wheels, with a sport tuned suspension system, with an Automatic Post-Collision Braking System, with engine start / stop, with XDS electronic differential lock, air conditioning and several other tweaks.

“A petrol engine that is as fuel-efficient as a diesel – until recently this was barely conceivable. A three-cylinder engine that is as powerful and refined as a good four-cylinder – that was barely conceivable until just recently. But now it is a reality. This engine exists. The 1.0 TSI from Volkswagen”, says the car manufacturer in its press release.

The Volkswagen Golf TSI BlueMotion has the aforementioned 1.0 liter three-cylinder TSI petrol engine under its hood. This is capable of putting down a total output of 115 HP (85 kW) and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque. The unit can be connected to a 6-speed manual or to a 7-speed DSG transmission and it is allowing the compact car to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 9.7 seconds and to go up to a top speed of 204 km/h (126 mph). The fuel consumption stands at 4.3L / 100km (65.6 mpg UK / 54.7 mpg US) and the CO2 emissions stop at 99 g/km. Prices for it start from 20,450 euros.
