The German based automaker Volkswagen is planning to officially present to the public the Golf VII at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show which will take place in September.
The fact that the new generation of the popular Volkswagen Golf was close to being launched wasn’t a surprise, but what comes as something new is an exact date for when the seventh generation of the popular hatchback will be officially presented to the public. According to the guys over at auto—motor-und-sport.de, the Volkswagen Golf VII will make its official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, which will open its gates in September.
The upcoming generation of the Volkswagen Golf is expected to do the same thing its predecessors have done, which is growing in size. The VW Golf VII will ride on the new MQB platform which has recently made its debut on the Cross Coupe Concept, but even so, there is no official word on the model yet. Under the hood, the new generation of the Volkswagen Golf is expected to be powered by a variety of petrol and diesel engines, but the BlueMotion, the GTI and the R versions are also expected to make their debut.
