Volkswagen has officially pulled the wraps off its newest creation, the GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo, which will be shown in the metal at Worthersee, next week.
The first images with the Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo have made their way onto the web just a day ago, but the model in question is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the company officially pulling the wraps off its body. The vehicle has been exclusively designed for Grant Turismo 6 and it has an aggressive exterior design, with an open-air cabin and several other tweaks which will help it stand out from a crowd.
The Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo is taking its power from a 3.0 liter VR6 twin turbo engine, which is developing a total output of 503 HP (375 kW) and 665 Nm (491 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a 7-speed DSG transmission, sending power to the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. Volkswagen says that the one-off vehicle is riding on 20-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 235/35 and 275/30 front to rear tires, covering the front 15-inch disc brakes and the 14-inch ones in the rear. The vehicle will be officially unveiled on the 28th of May, in Austria.
