Brits are now able to order the new Volkswagen Transporter Sportline 60 Special Edition as the model in question has just been introduced in the United Kingdom.
Volkswagen’s newest creation is named the Transporter Sportline 60 Special Edition and just like you have probably guessed it, the model in question is a special edition which has been created in order to celebrate the vehicle’s 60th anniversary in the United Kingdom. This will become available in short and in long wheelbase versions and it can be had as a Kombi or a panel van, coming with glossy black side mirrors, 18-inch alloy wheels with anthracite finish, black steel side bars and more.
Customers of the VW Transporter Sportline 60 Special Edition will also get the special decals, the electronically adjustable heated side mirrors, the front and rear parking sensors, the electric windows, ABS, climate control and remote central locking. The cabin of the model is also getting the Kenwood sat-nav system, embossed leather upholstery and much more. Color choices include the Reflex Silver or Deep Black or for the right money the Candy White with a Deep Black Roof. Power comes from the 180 HP (132 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque 2.0l 4-cylidner engine, mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG. Prices for the base version start at 29,940 GBP.
