The sedan version of the recently unveiled Volkswagen Passat Alltrack has been recently rendered and we have to admit that the carmaker should start considering this too.
It’s no more than a week since Volkswagen has officially pulled the wraps off the brand new Passat Alltrack and now the model in question is being highlighted once again, this time with the help of a couple of images. The photos posted below are actually renderings of the model which are showing us how the sedan body style may look like. The Volkswagen Passat Alltrack is a more rugged model which is coming with a 27.5 mm increased ride height, with different design for the bumpers, with sill trims, body cladding on the wheel arches, stainless steel underbody plates and so on.
Volkswagen is also adding the 4MOTION on-demand all-wheel drive system as standard for the Passat Alltrack, along with a standard differential lock and an engine lineup which includes the 1.4 liter TSI and the 2.0 liter TSI petrol burners, rated at 150 HP and 220 HP, along with a diesel lineup including the 150 HP, 190 HP and 240 HP 2.0 liter TDIs. We are not sure on the performance figures of the car, on the trim levels offered or on the pricing list but more will be announced on the 3rd of March, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Don’t expect a sedan version of the model anytime soon because this will most likely remain in the virtual world.
