Volkswagen Passat by ABT Sportsline going to Geneva image

ABT Sportsline will be introducing their new tuning program for the European version of the Volkswagen Passat tomorrow, March 3, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

Volkswagen fans will have a new conversation piece as the new generation of the Passat has been updated recently by ABT Sportsline and it will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March. The model in question is looking more aggressive than the standard ride and it has been equipped with an aerodynamic body kit which is adding the revised side skirts, the new front lip spoiler and the tailgate mounted spoiler, amongst others.

“In the new Passat tuned by ABT Sportsline the new sportiness is also felt visually. The body kit shows the Volkswagen at its most dynamic from all angles. From the front spoiler and grille attachment the eyes wander along the side skirt attachments and mirror caps to the rear skirt add on and rear spoiler, which is available for both the estate and the limo in different versions”, says the tuner in its press release.

Contributing to the looks of the updated Volkswagen Passat are also the new side mirror caps, the ABT branded floor mats, the sports exhaust system or the custom springs. We also have to mention the 20-inch or the 21-inch alloy wheels, which have been wrapped in Continental tires. Under the hood, the 2.0 liter TDI four-cylinder engine can be upgraded too in order to produce 40 HP (29 kW) more, to a total of 280 HP (206 kW). More details on the modified Passat signed by ABT will be announced at the Swiss automotive event.
