The new generation of the Volkswagen Passat CC will be introduced apparently in Geneva, this March, in a concept form.
With the new generation of the Volkswagen Passat being introduced back in 2014 and already available for order, the question remaining was related to the Passat CC, which should have been just around the corner but took some time to be developed. According to a recent report, published by the guys from Auto Motor und Sport, the brand new Volkswagen Passat CC will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in a couple of months, in concept form, so if you were hoping to place a deposit for it, you will be in for a big disappointment.
Rumor has it that the new generation of the Volkswagen Passat CC will be hitting the production line in 2017, so buying one turns out to be even trickier. The four-door coupe’s new generation will be four inches longer than the standard Passat and it should be getting a sportier styling, a rear liftgate and, of course, that sloping roofline which made it famous. We are not sure what we will be finding under its hood, but chances are that a wide variety of petrol and diesel burners will be adopted onto it, including the 240 HP (177 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque 2.0 liter twin turbo diesel engine. More details on the new Passat CC or on the CC Concept are limited at this time.
