The new generation of the Volkswagen Passat CC has been recently rendered and this is exactly what we needed in order to imagine how the model in question may finally look like.
With the new generation of the 2015 Volkswagen Passat being already unveiled a few weeks ago, the company’s fans are also preparing for the next generation of the Passat CC, but before that will end up onto the market, we can see it in the two images posted below, as renderings. The photos in question have been based on the Seat IBL Concept and they have been signed by Theophilus Chin.
When it will finally end up onto the market, the new generation of the Volkswagen Passat CC will be based on the regular Passat which, in its current form, stands at 4,767 mm in length, 1,832 mm in width and 1,456 mm in height. The model has a wheelbase stretched by 79 mm compared to its predecessor and it now stands at 2,791 mm. The cargo space in the sedan has increased by 21 liters to a total of 586 liters and the car is now riding on a new platform. The Passat CC will be competing with the Audi A5 Sportback and with the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe.
