The German based automaker Volkswagen has recently announced its plans to introduce the Passat Wolfsburg Edition in the United States.

According to the car manufacturer, people in the United States will soon be able to order the Volkswagen Passat Wolfsburg Edition, but not before paying 24,290 USD, destination charge included, before being able to drive their new rides home.
The Volkswagen Passat Wolfsburg Edition will become available on the base Passat S, with the Appearance package, which is adding the perforated leatherette upholstery, the power driver’s seat, satellite radio, iPod compatible audio system, heated front seats, 16-inch alloy wheels and more. The Volkswagen Passat Wolfsburg Edition is powered by a 2.5 liter I-5 engine, which is good for 170 HP and 177 lb-ft of torque. The unit is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 8.7 seconds.
