The German based automaker Volkswagen is planning to introduce a Polo crossover concept in a couple of months, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Volkswagen’s newest creation seems to be a so-called Polo crossover and this will be making its public debut, in a concept form, at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The model in question hasn’t been confirmed official by the company and it’s actually part of a report signed by the guys at Auto Bild. According to our source, the new VW Polo crossover concept will be previewing a production model, which will be launched sometimes in 2016.
The final production form of the Volkswagen Polo crossover concept is believed to get an engine lineup which will include a 1.0 liter three-cylinder unit with 110 HP (81 kW) and 175 Nm (129 lb-ft) of torque, for the entry-level version, which will be followed by a 1.4 liter TSI with 150 HP (110 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque and by a 1.8 liter TSI, producing 185 HP (136 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque. The diesel lineup will include the 1.4 liter TDI with 90 HP (66 kW) and 105 HP (77 kW) and a 2.0 liter TDI, with 150 HP (110 kW) and 184 HP (135 kW). a turbocharged 2.0L with 220 HP (161 kW) is also expected.
