The German based automaker Volkswagen has recently announced that the Polo R Line has been added to the small hatchback lineup in the United Kingdom, where the model starts at 15,195 GBP.
After being officially presented to the public back in September 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the R Line package for the Volkswagen Polo is once again placed into the spotlights, this time with the car manufacturer announcing the Polo R Line for United Kingdom. According to the company, the Volkswagen Polo R Line is available with the 1.2 liter turbocharged TSI petrol engine, which is developing a total output of 103 BHP, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The model can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 9.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 118 mph.
The Volkswagen Polo R Line is coming with redesigned front and rear bumpers, deeper side sills, black gloss radiator grille, tinted rear windows and a fresh set of 16-inch alloy wheels. Standard features for the VW Polo R Line include the aid conditioning, electric windows, electric heated door mirrors, sports seats, six-speaker stereo system with iPod connectivity and R Line badging for the front grille, steering wheel, seats and scuff plates. The model will go on sale in June in both three and five door versions.
