This special edition Polo is going to get some young crowds in thanks to the jam pumping 300-watt Beats audio system installed as a special perk.
Volkswagen has recently opened the order books for the limited run Polo beats, first detailed during the Geneva Motor Show, the model now gets the pricing details revealed. Up for grabs starting at €15,975, the special edition has a mildly revised exterior styling that includes a glossy black grille and special mirror caps, as well as custom 16-inch Syenit-style alloy wheels. There are more notable changes inside the cabin, where this limited run model comes with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and special “beats” upholstery on the seats and door panels. Of course the highlight is the model-specifically tuned Beats audio system designed with “crystal-clear sound” in mind.
The bespoke Beats audio system comes with seven loudspeakers and a subwoofer fitted inside the spare wheel well. Also present are two door-mounted woofers and two tweeters placed in the A-pillars. Other amenities include an eight-channel amplifier and a digital signal processor – all the upgrades amount to a 300-watt audio system that enables drivers to “really feel the music.” The Polo beats also has a smaller brother, the Up! beats, which is also scheduled to reach dealerships this summer. The latter also features contrasting mirror caps, beats graphics, and 15-inch Radical-style alloy wheels. Inside the latter comes with a multifunction steering wheel, special door sill plates, color-coordinated seat belts, and of course a Beats audio system.
