MTM has recently announced its plans to introduce a tuning program for the VW Polo WRC Street, during the Essen Motor Show.
The Volkswagen Polo WRC Street has recently received a new upgrade program signed by the aftermarket specialists at MTM. The model in question may look virtually identical to the standard car but according to the tuning company, it has received a Clubsport chassis, a high performance braking system, KW shock absorbers, 18-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in Continental ContiSportContact 5 P tires and some special badging, amongst others, which should help the car stand out from a crowd.
Power to the Volkswagen Polo WRC Street, signed by MTM, is still being provided by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, which is now producing a total output of 315 HP (231 kW), which basically means 95 HP (70 kW) more than the standard hot hatch. Thanks to the added power, the VW Polo WRC Street can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just over four seconds and it can reach a top speed of 260 km/h (161 mph). MTM is also offering a 380 HP (279 kW) version. More details on the upgraded VW Polo WRC Street will be announced in Essen.
