Volkswagen shows e-load up! concept in Frankfurt image

The Volkswagen e-load up! concept has been officially presented to the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in a world premiere, by the German based automaker.

After showing us the e-up! just a couple of days ago, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the company has decided to pull the wraps off yet another version of small urban vehicle, which is now named the e-load up!. The model in question is actually a concept car which is suitable for pizza delivery drivers, service technicians or couriers. The VW e-load up! has received plastic body cladding, fold-up passenger seat, blocked out rear windows and some other tweaks, which will help it stand out from a crowd.

The VW e-load up! can carry more than 1,400 liters of luggage thanks to the fold-up passenger seat and it’s powered by an electric motor, generating a total output of 82 HP (60 kW) and 210 Nm of torque (154 lb-ft). This is taking its juice from a 18.7 kWh lithium ion battery. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint in the VW e-load up! takes 12.4 seconds and top speed of the model stands at 130 km/h (80 mph). The total range of the car is 160 km on a single charger. Production of the model isn’t confirmed by VW just yet.
