The German aftermarket specialists at ABT Sportsline have recently presented their latest creation, an update package for the popular Volkswagen T5 Multivan.
According to ABT Sportsline, the Volkswagen T5 Multivan has been fitted with a new body kit, new suspension, new exhaust system with double pipes, a fresh set of 19-inch wheels and a power boost for all the engines. The Volkswagen T5 Multivan’s entry-level engine is now developing a total output of 110 horsepower, while the top of the line version is coming with 240 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. The most powerful engine, the 2.0 liter TSI, is helping the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.4 seconds, an impressive time for a model in this segment.
Future owners of the Volkswagen T5, which will order the ABT Sportsline’s upgrade, will make their vehicles stand out of the crowd thanks to the new front grille, new side sills, redesigned front bumper, rear spoiler and the fresh 19-inch alloy wheels, finished in gunmetal shade. The ride height in the T5 Multivan has been lowered by a few centimeters and the model has a more aggressive sound thanks to the new exhaust system. There is no official word on the price list just yet.
