The new Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport will be officially presented to the public during the 2015 Worthersee, as the car manufacturer has recently announced.
The German based automaker Volkswagen isn’t letting us forget that the 7th generation of the Golf is out for a few years now and that this still is one good choice for a compact car, no matter what engine you are looking for. The newest creation to be based on the popular C-segment hatchback is called the Golf GTI Clubsport and it has been announced recently by Volkswagen for the 2015 Worthersee, as the model will be making its public debut during the event. Volkswagen has even released three teaser sketches with the upcoming car, which are showing us some of its features.
The Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport is going to get the updated body kit, which is noticeable on the front fascia, on the rear end and on its sides, along with the roof wing, the headlights which seem to have the LED technology, the side mirrors with integrated turn signals, the familiar front grille and a fresh and appealing design for the wheels. Volkswagen says that the Golf GTI Clubsport will be taking its power from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 265 HP (195 kW). This is basically everything the carmaker has to say about this one-off model at this time and more will be announced on the 13th of May, at Worthersee.
