Volkswagen Touareg gets the ABT treatment image

The aftermarket specialists from ABT have recently worked their magic on a Volkswagen Touareg which has been shown and detailed.

If you happen to be the owner of the most common version of the Volkswagen Touareg there is, the 3.0l TDI, and you would like to upgrade your ride, than you have come to the right place because ABT will be helping it stand out from the regular variants thanks to some modifications made to its body, to the interior and under its hood.

“The Bavarians have turned the Touareg with the latest 3.0 TDI into quite a “racing camel”. With ABT Power “New Generation“, it achieves 290 hp / 213 kW and 650 Nm instead of 262 hp / 193 kW and 580 Nm. Thanks to extensive tests on ABT’s own dynamometer and public roads, the carefully developed upgrade is as undemanding as it is persevering. The production car’s fuel consumption and dependability remain the same, with the latter being underscored by ABT Sportsline’s extensive warranty”, says the tuner in the press release.

The Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 TDI by ABT has received the custom kit which is adding the headlight covers, the front grille add-on, the rear skirt, the rear wing and the quad exhaust tips. The model in question is also getting the fresh set of 20- or 22-inch alloy wheels, replacing the standard ones, which have been wrapped in 275/45 tires or 295/30 tires. Other goodies found on it include the ABT Level Control for the vehicles which have the air suspension, the lowering springs, the special trunk mat and floor mats and the integrated entrance lights. No pricing details for these modifications have been made public at this time.
