The German based automaker Volkswagen has officially pulled the wraps off four brand newly modified models for the RETTmobil 2014.
Volkswagen is currently getting ready to officially introduce its emergency vehicle lineup for 2014 as the company will do so at the RETTmobil 2014, later on this month. In the images posted below we can see a Golf Variant, with emergency lights, with video recording system and some other tweaks accessible from the infotainment system, which is taking its power from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder TDI engine, rated at 150 HP (110 kW).
The car manufacturer will be also showing a Touareg, turned into an emergency medical vehicle, equipped with external speakers, LED emergency lights and an ambulance livery. The model is taking its power from a 3.0 liter V6 TDI engine, producing a total output of 245 HP (180 kW). Besides these two models, Volkswagen will be introducing a Tiguan and a Passat Variant, where the first one has a 2.0 liter TDI four-cylinder unit, with 140 HP (103 kW) and the second one coming with a 2.0 liter TDI four-cylinder with 177 HP (130 kW). More details on the VW emergency vehicles will be announced at the event.
