Volkswagen has recently announced that the Up! model has been launched in Australia where it’s available from 13, 990 AUD.
According to the German based automaker, the Volkswagen Up! is available in both the three-door and the five-door configurations in Australia and the first one can be bought from 13,990 AUD while the second one is available for its future customers starting at 14,990 AUD. The Volkswagen Up! is coming with the City Emergency Braking function as standard which detects the risk of a collision at speeds between 5 km/h and 30 km/h and it automatically brakes.
Under the hood, the Australian Volkswagen Up! is getting the 1.0 liter three-cylinder petrol engine with 75 HP (55 kW), mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The version is burning an average of 4.9 liters of fuel every 100 km and it’s emitting just 114 g/km of CO2. The VW Up! will be available for order in Australia starting from the 6th of October. All units of the model which will go on sale there will be imported from Europe, where they are assembled in the company’s Bratislava, Slovakia plant.
