Volvo C30 Polestar makes public debut at SEMA image

Volvo has brought its C30 Polestar limited edition to the 2012 SEMA Motor Show in Las Vegas where the hot hatch has made its public debut.

After announcing the Volvo C30 Polestar more than a month ago for the United States auto market, the Swedish based automaker is now presenting the model at the 2012 SEMA Motor Show for the first time. The C30 Polestar is standing out in a crowd thanks to its blue paint and exterior tweaks which make it much more appealing than the standard version of the model, even if we consider the fact that it was already replaced by the V40 in some markets across Europe.

The Volvo C30 Polestar is powered by the 2.5 liter straight five-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 250 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 273 lb-ft. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The handling in the C30 Polestar has been improved and the springs are now 30 percent stiffer. Prices for the Volvo C30 Polestar have been set at 32,440 USD over-seas, where only 250 units of the model will become available.
