Volvo C70 Inscription going to L.A. Auto Show image

The Swedish based automaker Volvo doesn’t really have something new to present at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show but the company has announced something called the C70 Inscription which will make its official debut at the North American event this month.

Volvo says that its C70 Inscription will be coming with three engine options available for the Volvo C70, the 230 horsepower turbocharged five-cylinder T5 and two five-cylinder turbodiesels with 177 horsepower (D4) and 150 horsepower (D3).

“The C70 is a true icon in our model range. The Inscription is based on our human-centric Designed Around You philosophy, offering those who love convertibles and coupes a beautifully detailed version with a lot of kerb appeal”, said the senior VP marketing, sales and customer service at Volvo Car Corporation, Doug Speck.

The Volvo C70 Inscription will be available in three colors, Black Stone, Black Sapphire and Ice White, along with new 18 inch alloy wheels, high-gloss paint on the grille and LED Daytime Running Lights.

In the cabin, the Swedish based automaker will get the Sovereign Hide upholstery, leather-covered dashboard, aluminum inserts, the “Inscription” logo on the headrests, carpets, handbrake lever and sports pedals, along with Black or Nordic Light Oak as an option.
