Volvo Ocean Race Edition and V70 & XC70 Edition going to Geneva

Volvo has recently announced its plans to introduce the Ocean Race Edition and the V70 and XC70 Edition next month, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Volvo says that the Ocean Race Edition is in its fifth generation and it includes models like the V40, V40 Cross Country, V60 and XC60, and these models will become available in four colors, the Crystal White, the Ocean Blue II, the Bright Silver and the Black Sapphire. Other items found on the models include the 17-inch wheels for the V40 and V40 Cross Country and the 18-inch ones for the V60 and XC60.

Interior additions made to these models include the black or blond leather upholstery with contrast orange stitching, the Volvo Ocean Race logo in orange, the load cover on the V60 and XC60 decorated with the Volvo Ocean Race map and logo, the unique deco inlay and more. Volvo is expecting to sell more than 16,000 units of the Ocean Race Edition this year and in 2015.

Besides this Ocean Race Edition, the company will also introduce the V70 and XC70 Edition during the same Swiss automotive event. The V70 Edition is getting gloss black details in the rearview mirror caps, side window frames, grille, tailgate and others, along with 17-inch wheels or 18-inch available as an option, while the XC70 Edition also has several high gloss black details and 18-inch wheels in standard. More details on these models will be announced in Geneva, next month.
