Volvo has recently announced its plans to introduce the new S60L to the upcoming 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show, which will officially open its gates on the 21st of November.
The Swedish based automaker Volvo will officially pull the wraps off the S60L later on this month, during the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show. The announcement has been made by the carmaker as the model has recently entered production in Chengdu.
“The official start of series production in Chengdu is only the latest of many milestones we have achieved in recent years. Helped by our strong product portfolio, our highly competent organization in China is determined to book many more successes in the future and the outlook for Volvo Cars in China is indeed very bright”, said Lars Danielson, the senior vice president of Volvo Cars China Operations.
The new Volvo S60L will be a long wheelbase version of the model which has been specifically designed for the Chinese market, where such vehicles are appreciated. The first unit of the new Volvo S60L has already rolled off the assembly line in Chengdu, China, and it came with a Seashell exterior. More details on the Volvo S60L will be announced by the carmaker once the model will be officially presented to the public, on September 21, during the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show.
