The Swedish based automaker Volvo has recently teased the upcoming generation of the XC90 SUV, during the official unveil of the new Coupe Concept.
Volvo sure knows how to keep tension high and after teasing the Coupe Concept a few times and even letting us believe that one of the teaser images was the Citroen DS9 Concept, the carmaker has finally pulled the wraps off its body, fully revealing it, but in order to keep all eyes towards the brand, even more, the company has teased the 2015 XC90, by showing a new image with the popular SUV.
The darkened picture posted above represents the first official glimpse of the 2015 Volvo XC90 and you can clearly see the company’s new signature headlights, with the daytime running lights which have been shaped in a T form. The new generation of the Volvo XC90 will be the first production model to be developed under Geely’s ownership and it will also be based on the new SPA (Scalable Product Architecture), once it will make its way onto the market. Additional details on the 2015 Volvo XC90 are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its debut, sometimes next year.
