Volvo has officially pulled the wraps off the 2014 V70, 2014 XC70 and 2014 S80, ahead of the models’ official debut next month, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
After the three “new” models made by Volvo have leaked just a day before writing this article, along with others, the 2014 V70, the XC70 and the S80 are ending up in our news once again, this time with the Swedish based automaker officially pulling the wraps off their bodies. The models in question are facelifts and they are coming with an updated design with new bumpers and some other tweaks, like the plastic body cladding on the front bumper for the XC70.
The 2014 Volvo V70, XC70 and S80 are getting new taillights, a revised front grille, a digital instrument cluster, Sensus Connected Touch infotainment system, Active High Beam Control, heated windscreen, IntelliSafe systems and more. The engines available for the models mentioned above have been revised and they include the 1.6L T4 with 180 HP (132 kW) and 240 Nm of torque (177 lb-ft), the 2.0L T5 petrol with 240 HP (177 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft), the 2.5L five-cylinder T5 with 249 HP (183 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft), a 3.2L inline six-cylinder petrol, producing 243 HP (179 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft), a 3.0L six-cylinder T6 petrol, with 304 HP (224 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft), 1.6L turbo D2 diesel, producing 115 HP (84 kW) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft), 2.0L five-cylinder D3 diesel with 136 HP (100 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft), a 2.0L five-cylinder D3 diesel with 163 HP (120 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) and a 2.4L five-cylinder D5 diesel generating 215 HP (158 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft).
