Volvo has recently announced the launch of the V40 Cross Country in Australia, where the cheapest version of the model is available from 47, 990 AUD.
According to the car manufacturer, the Volvo V40 Cross Country is available in two variants, the D4 Luxury, which costs 47,990 AUD, and the T5 AWD, priced from 52,990 AUD. Volvo says that the V40 Cross Country D4 Luxury is powered by a 2.0 liter five-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which is good for 130 kW at 3,500 rpm and400 Nm of torque available between 1,750 and 2,750 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 8.3 seconds and the average fuel consumption stands at 5.3 L / 100 km.
The Volvo V40 Cross Country T5 AWD is coming with a 2.0 liter five-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 187 kW at 5,400 rpm and 360 Nm of torque available between 1,800 and 4,200 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes 6.4 seconds and the average fuel consumption stands at 8.4 L / 100 km. Volvo says that both engines are mated only to the company’s six-speed automatic transmission. The Volvo V40 Cross Country is made in the Ghent, Belgium, plant.
