The all-new Volvo V40 has been recently launched in Romania where the model has a starting price of 22,816 euros, VAT included.
After being officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the new Volvo V40 has been once again placed into the spotlights, this time with the car manufacturer launching it in Romania. According to the Swedish based automaker, the all-new Volvo V40 has a starting price of 22,816 euros in Romania and all versions of the hatchback are fitted with start/stop and with the regenerative energy braking system as standard. Besides this, Volvo will also fit as standard the City Safety, the pedestrian airbag, the dual front airbags, a driver’s knee airbag, side airbags, brake assist, dynamic chassis, traction control, climate control, electric heated mirrors, multifunction 5-inch display and many more other things.
Under the hood, the Volvo V40 will get five engines, starting with the 1.6 liter with its 150 horsepower, which will be offered as standard, and ending with the T5 2.5 liter unit, generating 254 horsepower. Diesel lovers will be able to choose from three units, from 115 to 177 HP, with the latter promising a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of 8.3 seconds and an average fuel consumption of just 4.5 liters / 100 km in an average cycle.
