The all-new Volvo V40 has been recently launched in the United Kingdom, where the hatchback has a starting price of 19,745 pounds.
After being officially presented to the public in March at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and right after that being launched in Romania, where the model can be bought starting at 22,816 euros VAT included, the all-new Volvo V40 is once again highlighted, this time with the company announcing its United Kingdom launch. According to the car manufacturer, the Volvo V40 will be available in three trim levels in the UK, the ES, SE and the SE Lux, with a choice of five engines, two petrols and three diesels.
Volvo says that the entry-level ES version will be available with the D2 engine, with the 148 BHP D3 or with the 148 BHP T3 petrol unit, and the model will come with ABS, DSTC, pedestrian airbag, electronic climate control, leather trimmed steering wheel and gear lever, five-inch color display, Bluetooth, City Safety and a set of 16-inch alloy wheels, all of these as standard. The SE version will add features like the multifunction steering wheel, keyless entry, electric mirrors, window trim, cruise control and the D4 diesel engine with its 175 BHP and the 177 BHP T4 petrol unit. The SE Lux will come with LED daytime running lights, active Xenon headlamps and 17-inch alloy wheels, along with the flagship T4 petrol engine.
