The Volvo V40 is once again placed into the spotlights after two official images of the Swedish hatchback have hit the web, ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
Even if the Swedish based automaker is still trying to keep toe V40 a secret, a lot of images with the hatchback have hit the internet a few days ago, and now the model is once again enjoying our attention after the guys from Polish car magazine Motodziennik have published two new photos. As it was expected, the upcoming Volvo V40 is combining elements from both the C0 and the S60 sedan, while its overall exterior lines are bringing the hatchback a design closer than its future competitors and perhaps more appealing to the eye.
Even if the car manufacturer didn’t provide any details on the Volvo V40, rumors say that the model will wear the 2013 model year in its name, which means that it will hit the dealerships later this year. The Volvo V40 is the company’s answer to models like the BMW 1-Series and the Audi A3 Sportback and it’s replacing the current three-door C30. More details on the Volvo V40 will be announced at the Geneva Motor Show next month, when the model will be officially presented to the public.
