The all-new Volvo V40, in the R-Design trim, has recently leaked over the internet ahead of the model’s debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in late September.
Even if the new Volvo V40 has been recently presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the Swedish based automaker is already working on a “high-performance” version of the hatchback and this will make its debut in late September during the 2012 Paris Motor Show. As you can see from the image posted above, provided by the guys at worldcarfans.com, the 2013 Volvo V40 R-Design is coming with a more aggressive exterior design than the standard version, brushed aluminum mirror housings and five-spoke alloy wheels.
The 2013 Volvo V40 R-Design will be offered with the same engines as the standard version, the 1.6 T3 petrol unit with 150 horsepower, T4 with 180 HP and the T5 with 254 HP, along with the D2 diesel with 115 HP, the D3 with 150 HP and the D4 with 177 HP. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the Volvo V40 R-Design for now but the model will be officially presented to the public on the 29th of September this year, during the Paris Motor Show.
