Volvo V60 launched in Malaysia image

The new Volvo V60 has been recently launched in Malaysia by the Swedish based automaker, and the model has been priced at RM230.000 for the T4 version.

According to the car manufacturer, Volvo Cars Malaysia has just launched the new V60 model on the local auto market, and the vehicle is available in only two locally assembled variants, the T4 and the T5. The Volvo V60 T4 version is coming with a 1.6 liter engine, which is developing a total output of 180 horsepower at 5.700 rpm and it has 240 Nm of torque available between 1.600 and 5.000 rpm, but the peak torque might go up to 270 Nm.

Under the hood of the Volvo V6 T5 the 2.0 liter engine is available, with its 240 horsepower at 5.500 rpm and 320 Nm of torque available from 1.800 to 5.000 rpm. The automaker says that the T5 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 230 km/h, while the T4 is accelerating in 9.2 seconds from a standstill to 100 km/h, while its top speed has been set at 220 km/h. Both models are coming with the six-speed Powershift automatic transmission.

The entry-level version of the Volvo V60 has been set at RM230.000 and it’s coming with standard features like the leather wrapped steering wheel, leather seats, Shimmer Graphite inlay décor trim, eight-speaker, four-channel amplifier setup, five-inch integrated color screen and the 17 inch alloy wheels. The T5 has been set at RM269.000.
