Volvo is now offering the R-Design Package for the V60 Plug-in Hybrid, as this is adding a number of unique interior and exterior features, which are contributing to a sportier look.
The Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid is benefitting from the Plug-in Hybrid identification with the R-Design front, with the rear diffuser, with the 18-inch Ixion wheels, amongst others, while the interior design of the model is including the standard sport seats with perforated leather and black nubuck textile, the black headliner, the black leather, perforated look, the plug-in hybrid instrumentation and information and much more.
Power to the Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid is being provided by a 2.4 liter five-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which is rated at 215 HP and it has a peak torque of 440 Nm (324 lb-ft). The rear axle is “movied” by an electric motor, generating 68 HP and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque, which is taking its juice from the 11.2 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery has been installed under the floor of the load compartment. The vehicle in question can travel for up to 50 km (31 miles) on electric power and it can burn just 1.8 liters of fuel every 100 km, while emitting 48 g/km of CO2.
