Volvo XC90 T8 Twin Engine gets priced in the U.S. image

The official starting price of the Volvo XC90 T8 Twin Engine has been announced by the carmaker in the United States, where this will be offered for sale starting this summer.

The brand new Volvo XC90 T8 Twin Engine is getting ready to be officially introduced in dealerships across the United States in summer of 2015. The model in question will be priced from 68,100 USD but the carmaker has declined to release some detailed specifications. However, we do know that the entry-level version, which will be called the Momentum, will be coming with the hand blown Orrefors crystal gear knob, with the power front seat cushion extensions, the “Thor’s Hammer” LED headlights and several other tweaks.

If the Volvo XC90 T8 Twin Engine Momentum doesn’t seem like enough for you, than you can always choose the XC90 T8 R-Design, which can be yours from 70,000 USD. This is bringing the more aggressive front fascia, the dual exhaust system, the matte silver side mirror caps, Nubuck and Nappa leather seats, a perforated leather steering wheel with paddle shifters and more. The top of the line model is called the XC90 T8 Inscription and it starts from 71,600 USD. It is bringing Nappa leather seats, leather wrapped dashboard, linear wood trim, chrome trim, silver matte grille and others. All versions are powered by a 2.0L Drive E supercharged and turbocharged engine and by an electric motor, with a total output of 394 HP (293 kW), enough for a 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) made in 5.7s and an electric range of up to 27 km (17 miles).
