The aftermarket specialists at Vorsteiner have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade package for the McLaren MP4-12C.
Tuning a supercar like the McLaren MP4-12C isn’t an easy job because just about every aftermarket feature added can ruin its looks and performance, but when it comes to tuning companies like Vorsteiner, than the model in question can even become hotter than the standard vehicle. According to the tuning company, the McLaren MP4-12C has received a new front bumper, some carbon fiber new side skirts, a new rear bumper with an integrated air diffuser, an upgraded rear wing and some other tweaks, which will help it stand out from a crowd.
The guys at Vorsteiner didn’t modify the 3.8-liter engine of the McLaren MP4-12C so the unit is now coming as standard, with 600 HP and 600 Nm of torque. This is still enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 3.3 seconds. With the Corsa tire options, the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes 3.1 seconds. No pricing details on the upgraded McLaren MP4-12C signed by Vorsteiner, or the MP4-VX, which is named, have been announced yet so our guess is that more info on the subject will be made public over the following months.
