Vossen Wheels is a name we usually associate with higher-end Porsches and BMWs, but the manufacturer has also decided to try out a while back the European hot hatch scene, and they used the expertise to set up this Audi Q2 to take part in the tuning competition set up by the Ingolstadt-based automaker. While this is the most youth-oriented design Audi has on offer, Vossen has managed to up the stakes by turning the crossover in a regular hatchback look-alike, thanks to the new suspension parts that make it stick closer to the ground. Vossen is actually backing up Alois Hankofer, the chief of AH Exclusive Parts, which is one of the tuners that customized a Q2.
“After being on display during XS Car Night and throughout the town of Velden am Worthersee over the past two weeks it’s finally time for the people to decide the best build of the #AudiQ2Challenge. Of course, our vote goes out to the AH Exclusive build, but not just because it’s riding on our Vossen Forged wheels,” reads the official Vossen post. The wheels are part of the Forged ML-R2 line, while other modifications include an RS3 brake conversion with ceramic disks, a low coilover set from H&R – but there’s also a red roll cage to accompany the Recaro racing seats.
