Volkswagen has recently announced the adding of a Premium Package for the 2014 Beetle, which is available for both body styles, Coupe and Convertible.
The new Premium Package signed by Volkswagen and aimed towards the Coupe and the Convertible versions of the Beetle will be added to the versions equipped with the 1.8T or with the TDI Clean Diesel engine. The package will be adding features available on the R-Line trim level such as the climatronic automatic climate control, the bi-xenon headlights, the automatic headlights, the satellite radio, RNS 510, navigation system, rain sensing windshield wipers and much more.
Besides these goodies, the Premium Package will also be adding the R-Line bumpers, the grey mirror caps and door sills, the auto dimming rearview mirror, the Fender audio system and so on. Exterior color choices include the Platinum Gray, the Oryx White or the Deep Black, for both models. The 1.8T will ride on the 19-inch Tornado alloy wheels and the TDI on the 18-inch Disc rims, finished in Galvano Grey. Prices will start from 27,355 USD for the 1.8T Coupe and they will go up to 29,355 USD for the TDI Coupe, while the Convertible will start from 30,755 USD for the 1.8T while the TDI from 32,755 USD.
