VW announcing Passat Sport for 2015 image

Volkswagen has recently announced its plans to introduce the Passat Sport sometimes next year, when the model in question will go on sale, over-seas, from 27,295 USD.

The German based automaker Volkswagen is getting ready to introduce a new version of the Passat, which has been called the Passat Sport, sometimes next year. The model in question has been actually previewed by the Passat Performance Concept and it has a familiar design, which can be distinguished by the rear spoiler, by the fog lights or by the 19-inch Luxor style alloy wheels, amongst others, which will help it stand out from the crowd.

The new VW Passat Sport will become available in three colors, the Urano Gray, the Candy White and the Tungsten Silver and its cabin will receive goodies like the heated front seats, the leather wrapped steering wheel, the stainless steel door plates, the alloy pedals, the faux carbon fiber trim, the sport seats, the special floor mats and much more. As far as the engine goes, the new Passat Sport will get a 1.8 liter four-cylinder unit under its hood, which is developing 170 HP (126 kW) and 249 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. This will be mated to a 5-speed manual or to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
